Talia is a trial attorney with Hersh Kirtman Injury Law. Talia’s life is one dedicated to excellence in service to others. With a keen interest in and commitment to the betterment of those around her, she chose to study social work during her undergraduate years. Talia knew she would pursue a career that would serve the public and allow her to help those most in need, but her decision to practice law arose later.
Talia later experienced a tragic personal loss largely attributed to the negligence of medical professionals. Talia learned the sad prevalence of medical malpractice, the irreversible harm that can result, and the difficulties victims face when attempting to have their day in court and seek justice. Talia discovered how she wanted to help people – as a lawyer. She knew that as a lawyer she would be able to fight injustice on behalf of individuals who would have no means to do so themselves.
Talia graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2021 and began working as an assistant public defender in Palm Beach County. She served as an assistant public defender for three years. During that time, she defended hundreds of individuals facing prosecution for various crimes. She tried more than thirty jury trials in front of eleven different judges. Talia also routinely argued novel issues of law pertinent to her clients’ defenses. Talia secured many favorable verdicts for her clients, and otherwise always remained focused on guiding her clients to the most favorable outcomes. Serving as an assistant public defender reinforced Talia’s drive to help those individuals who were most in need.
Talia joined the team at Hersh Kirtman Injury Law to help those who have been needlessly harmed by the negligence of others. Talia draws from her wealth of experience as a trial attorney as she helps to guide, protect, and advocate for her clients. Talia represents individuals who have suffered injuries in car crashes, premises incidents such as slip and falls and trip and falls, medical malpractice, construction and roadway defects, and other incidents.
Talia enjoys bicycle riding and playing soccer. She prioritizes spending time with her family and two dogs. On the weekends, she and her husband routinely watch NFL football and go to the beach.
